Outreach
St. Luke's practices outreach by inviting the community into our space and sharing a meal. From a bi-weekly free breakfast to annual events, our doors are open to everyone in the Wamego area to come in and have some food and be in fellowship with one another.
Sharing Table Breakfasts
First and third Thursdays: 7:00-9:00 a.m.
Sharing Table offers our neighbors a free, hot, made-to-order breakfast two Thursdays per month. Choose from a breakfast burrito or egg/ham/cheese breakfast sandwich, with sausage, hash browns and pancakes on the side. Have a cup of coffee or juice while you briefly wait for your meal to be prepared.

Caught Not Bought Fish Fry
Every year, St. Luke's hosts a fish fry dinner with fish caught by one of our parishioners. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a delicious meal of fresh fish.

Faith Market
The Council of Churches food pantry at First United Methodist Church provides a free market for people who need help providing food for themselves and their family. St. Luke's supports this ministry financially and some parishioners volunteer throughout the year to staff the market on shopping days.
Christmas Family
During the Christmas holiday season, the Council of Churches organizes groups and individuals to sponsor a family in need by providing Christmas presents for all members of the family. St. Luke's sponsors a family or two each year with the whole congregation contributing to make the holiday brighter for these families.
