Lectionary
The Lectionary is an ordered system for reading the Holy Scriptures at the Eucharist and the Daily Offices.
The Book of Common Prayer contains two lectionaries: The Eucharistic Lectionary and the Daily Office Lectionary. The Prayer Book Lectionary is based on the lectionary developed in the Roman Catholic Church following Vatican Council II. The Revised Common Lectionary was adopted by the General Convention of The Episcopal Church and is now also used by many mainline denominations.
You can find the lectionary readings for every Sunday and feast day online at The Lectionary Page.
