Finding Wholeness:
Welcoming the Soul and Weaving Community in a Wounded World
This isn't your typical book study or discussion group.
Finding Wholeness is an intentional community that will come together over several weeks to do a little "soul work." Using Parker Palmer's Circle of Trust discernment model and his book, A Hidden Wholeness, as our guides, we will create some oftentimes hard-to-find space to listen to ourselves as well as to one another. If you are searching for authentic community, longing to dig in and go deep, or interested in self-discovery, join us this fall for this retreat in daily life. This five-session event begins and ends with half-day retreats, with three 90-minute gatherings in between retreat days. A helpful introductory information session takes place in August to learn more. Your leaders are Dr. Mary Kaye Siebert, director of curriculum for Wamego schools and credentialed retreat facilitator through Parker Palmer's Center for Courage and Renewal and the Rev. Casey Rohleder, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Wamego. The retreat cost is $50, plus the purchase of the book. Scholarships are available. This group is open to people of all faith traditions or none at all. |
