We read books that will enrich our spiritual life including several of Margaret Guenther’s books and Katharine Jefferts-Schori book “A Wing and a Prayer.” Come join us for stimulating conversation. Contact Cinnie Hill for more information. Bible study is a lay lead study directed toward personal, religious and spiritual practice. St. Luke’s study meets for one hour every Tuesday morning at 10:00 A.M. and uses the Serendipity Bible as its guide. Current study is the Gospel of Luke, led by Emily Benson.
Cursillo is a movement of the church. Its purpose is to help those in the church understand their individual callings to be Christian Leaders. The leadership may be exercised in work situations, in the family and social life, in leisure activities, and within the Church environment. Leadership, in Cursillo, does not mean power over others, but influence on others; All need to be aware that one can exert a positive influence on those around them. Contact Myrline Winkler EfM |
